Your Mission: (job summary here)

Coordinates and expedites flow of parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to manufacturing department priorities, and compiles and maintains manual or computerized records.

The position directly affects costs (esp. of materials, but also of time utilization), throughput speed, and - to a lesser extent - quality (as related to proper handling of materials).

Explore the Depth of the Role: (Job Duties/responsibilities)

• Organization of shop orders to be kitted.
• Kitting shop orders for "on time start" via BOM. Priority established by FAB "on time start".
• Material retrieval from receiving and primary operations.
• ERP accuracy and maintenance within kitting.
• Issuing materials per shop order to support on time of start of kits.
• Kitting organization and maintenance in the kitting area.
• Count Adjustments and scraping of shelf inventory in ERP system
• Quarterly cycle counts on primary and component parts.
• Job pack assembly and distribution to the processing area.
• Scanning of completed shop orders into ERP system.

Requirements

Mission Readiness: (Education and Experience/skills/abilities):

• High School Diploma
• Associates degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in manufacturing environment or accounting field, with strong computer skills, esp. with ERP systems.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Travel Requirements:

• Occasional travel between facilities and customer sites as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.
• May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver.
