Position: Material Coordinator / Scheduler

This role will support capital projects as a scheduler, primarily using Primavera P6. The resource will manage and maintain schedules for a portfolio of capital projects, attend project calls, create new schedules, update existing schedules, respond to schedule-related questions, and act as the scheduling subject matter expert (SME) for assigned projects. The role supports projects up to approximately $15M in budget.
Note: Highly collaborative. The scheduler will work closely with project teams and serve as a scheduling SME but is responsible for managing their own workload and deliverables. No direct supervision responsibilities.
Daily Schedule:
- Update and maintain schedules in Primavera P6
- Attend project meetings and project calls
- Incorporate updates and changes discussed in meetings into schedules
- Create new schedules and manage a portfolio of projects
- Answer schedule-related questions from project teams
- Review QA/QC scheduling reports
- Communicate schedule impacts and changes to stakeholders
Required skills:
What are the top 3-5 skills and qualifications (technology/application/
software, etc.) required?
- Primavera P6 scheduling experience (minimum 5 years required)
- Capital project scheduling experience
- Strong communication skills
- Organization and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook and related tools)
What non-technical skills are necessary (i.e., such as communication, problem solving, team player)?
- Comfortable leading meetings with 15–20 people
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Ability to adapt and pivot as project conditions change
- Collaboration across multiple teams
Ideal candidate background and how many years required?
- Minimum 5 years of Primavera P6 experience
- Preference for 10+ years overall scheduling experience
- Experience supporting capital projects is required
