SUMMARY: WR is seeking a highly motivated Material Coordinator to provide Government site support for material management, equipment tracking, inventory control, and logistics operations.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support Government site logistics activities, including:
- Shipping and receiving of materials and equipment
- Material movement and distribution
- Equipment tracking, accountability, and status reporting
- International shipping coordination and Customs clearance processing
- Inventory records management and reconciliation
- Process and maintain DD-1149 documentation and related shipping records.
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure timely movement of equipment and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory databases and support inventory audits.
- Assist with material receipt inspections and verification of shipment documentation.
- Coordinate with Government and contractor personnel to support logistics and material management requirements.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Seven (7)+ years of full-time professional experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management, or material coordination.
- Experience with inventory databases and DD-1149 generation and processing.
- Experience tracking Government-furnished equipment and materials.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Active Secret Clearance required at time of hire.
Preferred experience and skills:
- Experience supporting U.S. Navy or DoD logistics operations.
- Familiarity with international shipping requirements and Customs documentation.
- Experience utilizing Government logistics and inventory management systems.
