Material Engineer
We are looking for a highly skilled Material Engineer with expertise in materials science, ASME codes and standards, and graphite applications to support our reactor design, fabrication, and operational goals. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring material compatibility, performance, and modeling in highly regulated environments.

Material Engineer Position Responsibilities:
Inform the selection of materials and their performance as part of our nuclear reactor plant systems. Work with suppliers to interpret specifications/standards and optimize production methods/techniques. Review supplier and service provider to support the development of the supply chain and acquisition of materials. Perform material performance analyses to support design, manufacturing, construction and operation activities. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and standard work.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant Science or Engineering field (Materials, Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical). Minimum 5 years of experience in material science or engineering, preferably in the nuclear, energy, or aerospace industries.
Desired Characteristics
Knowledge of material behavior under extreme environment. Experience with material fatigue, wear, fretting and other degradation phenomena. Familiarity with material manufacturing and processes. Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards (e.g. ASME). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team contributing to positive culture and overall team results.
