Material Expeditor

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Material Expeditor to work in the Columbus area. This position offers great benefits, including health insurance, and paid time off.

Position Summary

The Material Expeditor helps ensure materials and services are delivered on time. This role tracks supplier commitments and shipments, identifies delays, coordinates recovery plans, and works with suppliers, logistics teams, buyers, planners, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Track purchase orders, supplier commitments, shipments, and delivery dates.
• Identify potential delays and coordinate recovery plans.
• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams.
• Resolve issues involving late or partial shipments, quality holds, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate material and delivery information in ERP/MRP systems.
• Prepare supplier on-time delivery and past-due reports.
• Support outages, turnarounds, and other time-sensitive projects.
• Help improve supplier communication, lead times, and expediting processes.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field; OR Associate’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; OR 4 years of experience in expediting, materials, or logistics.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Knowledge of BOLs, ASNs, and INCOTERMS.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis skills.
