Material Handler 1 Compensation

• $22.70 per hour (includes shift differential)
• Benefits available after 90 days of full-time employment
• 401(k) with company match after 1 year of service (on eligibility dates)

Material Handler 1 Highlights

• Contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• On-site position in Columbus, NE (68601)
• Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM on a rotating shift

Material Handler 1 Responsibilities

• Process customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking, and labeling cases/boxes
• Pick and pack orders using RF technology
• Pallet/case picking and pallet build/palletizing (scan, retrieve, place completed orders on pallets)
• Re-palletize product for shipment as needed
• May assist with dock/manifest duties (scan completed pallets, run shrink wrapper)
• May transport pallets using walking MHE
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per SOPs/work instructions
• Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Follow all safety/security procedures and report injuries, hazards, or unsafe conditions immediately
• Cross-train and support other warehouse functions as assigned

Material Handler 1 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Attendance is mandatory the first 90 days
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution/warehouse environment
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents
• Comfortable working with RF/Voice scanning and metrics-driven productivity standards
• Ability to perform physical job duties (standing/walking, bending, pushing/pulling, lifting; up to 50 lbs in some areas)

Material Handler 1 Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience (or equivalent) preferred
• Experience with Walkie Rider / motorized pallet jack preferred
• Prior warehouse/distribution experience (case picking, palletizing, shipping/pack-out)
