Job Title: Material Handler

Compensation: $20.00 per hour - paid weekly

About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Material Handlers for a power distribution manufacturing company in Faribault, MN. In this role, you’ll support production by accurately moving, tracking, and staging materials using an ERP system in a clean, safety-focused environment. If you enjoy hands-on work and want steady hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do as a Material Handler:- Perform material transactions using Epicor (ERP) based on production needs
- Read and follow SOPs, job travelers, and sales orders
- Pull, issue, and transfer parts in the ERP system
- Train to operate and certify on forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles
- Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Keep warehouse areas clean, stocked, and organized
- Perform additional warehouse and materials duties as assigned
What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role:- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and reach frequently during the shift
- High school diploma
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions in English
- Basic computer skills and accurate data entry ability
- Ability to perform simple math for counts, inventory, and SOP documents
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, if required
- Must follow all PPE requirements (eye, hand, foot, and hearing protection)
