The Material Handler 1st Shift - Forklift plays a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by handling materials with precision and safety. Working within a small team and reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role involves operating forklifts and managing inventory to support order fulfillment and shipping processes during the first shift. The ideal candidate is experienced in material handling and adept at maintaining organized and compliant workspaces using standard warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
• Load and unload materials accurately
• Handle inventory and replenish stock as needed
• Fulfill orders promptly and prepare shipments
• Ensure compliance with safety standards
• Organize workspace to maintain operational flow
• Manage receiving and shipping processes
• Utilize computer systems for inventory tracking

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in material handling
