Material Handler 1st Shift

Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing, is seeking a Material Handler 1st Shift to join their team. As a Material Handler 1st Shift, you will be part of the production support team, assisting skilled production workers in maintaining smooth operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler 1st Shift

Location: MELVILLE, NY

Pay Range: $17.5

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:15 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform a variety of tasks requiring limited knowledge of production processes in support of skilled production workers
• Assist in the movement and storage of materials within the facility
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of materials
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required
• Ability to perform physical tasks and stand for extended periods
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to undergo drug testing and background check
• Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
