Material Handler - 1st Shift

This is a full-time opportunity supporting the distribution of store fixtures and equipment for a major supermarket chain. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Pay & Schedule

• Starting at $16.00 / hour based on experience and skills
• 1st Shift: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Includes (2) paid 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch

Job Responsibilities

• Unload inbound freight using pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment
• Verify shipments against packing slips and inventory records
• Organize, label, stage, and store materials in designated warehouse locations
• Pick and prepare orders for shipment to store locations
• Load outbound trailers safely and efficiently
• Handle retail fixtures, shelving, carts, display units, and store equipment
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and inventory accuracy
• Operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment safely (forklift training available)

Requirements: Forklift experience is a plus, but willing-to-learn candidates are encouraged to apply

• Previous warehouse, assembly, or related experience required

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Ability to kneel, stoop, stretch, climb, and stand for extended periods
• Steel-toe or ANSI Z41 approved composite footwear is required
