Role Overview: Hera Technologies is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support manufacturing and production operations. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, transporting, and maintaining inventory accuracy for raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished aerospace products. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, understands inventory control processes, and is committed to maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
- Accurately identify, label, and store materials in designated inventory locations.
- Issue materials to production areas based on work orders and manufacturing schedules.
- Perform material movements between departments while maintaining traceability and inventory accuracy.
- Conduct cycle counts and assists with physical inventory audits.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to transact inventory receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
- Package, stage, and prepare outbound shipments in accordance with customer and quality requirements.
- Maintain FIFO inventory practices and ensure proper handling of aerospace materials.
- Support inventory investigations and reconciliation efforts.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Planning, and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in material handling, warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or aerospace environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and material traceability.
- Ability to use computers and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read shipping documents, packing slips, and work orders.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace, defense, or AS9100 manufacturing experience.
- Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience.
- Experience using ERP systems such as Epicor, JobBOSS, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with cycle counting and inventory auditing processes.
- Knowledge of ITAR-controlled environments and material traceability requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
- Use of required PPE in manufacturing and warehouse environments.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
