Material Handler (1st Shift)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM (Must stay until work is complete; potential for regular overtime).

Dress Code: Hi-Vis shirt or vest; required PPE includes steel/hard toe shoes.

About the Role:

This involves working independently in a fast-paced environment to load, unload, and move materials, pick and pack customer orders, and operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, capable of frequently lifting up to 75 lbs, able to stand throughout shifts in varying temperatures, and possess basic math skills, strong attention to detail, and good time management.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Work independently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the work site.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently while fulfilling material and supply requests.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and hand trucks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Stay on shift until all daily tasks and shipping requirements are fully completed.

This is a temporary/contract position with no benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off during the contract period, but these may become available upon conversion to a permanent role.

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, carry, and slide packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand and move continuously throughout the warehouse across various temperatures.
• Strong comprehension of oral and written communication to read labels, tickets, and documentation.
• Stable Work History, proven track record of stable tenure with previous employers (candidates must have 2+ years per role; job hoppers will not be considered)
• Basic math skills, attention to detail, and good time-management abilities.
