Position Title: Material Handler 2
Pay Rate: $19.59/hr
Category/Shift: Hourly, Full-Time
Physical Location: 1111 Fort Street, Omaha, NE 68112
The Job You Will Perform:
Handle and maintain the flow of materials throughout the plant
Complete daily pre-start forklift maintenance inspection report (or VCR)
Complete and submit load sheet to accurately record bale count, loading start/stop times for finished goods on outbound shipments
Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag out procedure
Assist with sorting, deboxing and moving pallets/materials on the plant floor
Assist with removing finished bales and storing them in the proper location
Load and unload trailers
Complete PMs for all certified mobile equipment regularly
Attend and participate in plant safety meetings
Manage controllable costs through proper equipment, tool and consumable usage
Report any safety or maintenance concerns
Adhere to plant policies and guidelines
Other duties may be assigned
The Skills You Will Bring:
Must be 18 years of age
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (if needed)

Ability to communicate with floor lead - maintenance issues, downtime, production issues, unacceptable or non-conforming loads, poor bale quality, errors on supplier tickets versus actual receipts any other issues with material being handled
Ability to use a Windows-enabled tablet to perform basic functions related to material processing and paper converting in cieTrade
Ability to operate/monitor the following equipment: Forklift, Skid Steer, Electronic Pallet Jack, Hand Truck
