The Material Handler is responsible for shipping, receiving, and transporting packaging, ingredients, and finished goods in a food production facility.
- Ensures safety compliance and maintains a clean work environment.
- Inspects and verifies deliveries, documents transactions, and organizes inventory.
- Operates forklifts safely, including daily maintenance and recertification.
- Supports inventory counts, labels ingredients, and stages materials for production.
- Works in cold environments and performs warehouse and freezer duties as needed.
- Requires high school diploma, basic math and computer skills, and at least one year of material handling experience.
- Must lift up to 50 pounds, stand, reach, bend, and have good vision and hearing abilities.
Compensation ranges from $20.80 per hour, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and supporting a family-oriented culture.
