Job Description
Garland, TX – Material Handler / Forklift (Shipping & Receiving)
Pay: $21.38/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (OT required)
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks using sit-down forklift
- Verify shipments using packing slips and purchase orders
- Move and stage freight within the warehouse
- Maintain shipping/receiving areas and equipment
- Resolve shipment discrepancies and support scheduling
- Assist in other departments as needed
Requirements:
- Forklift certification (sit-down forklift)
- Experience loading trailers preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety focus
- Ability to lift and assist with manual work when needed
