Description Of Services

• The Material Handler will load, unload, and convey materials within the plant or work site, performing tasks including shipping, receiving, and managing inventory under specific direction.
• Duties include researching material status critical to production schedules, managing chemicals from delivery to disposal, ensuring adequate consumable supply levels, and conducting cost/metrics analysis.
• This role requires coordinating with supply chain and engineering teams, creating status reports, developing functional manuals, and providing logistics support to floor personnel daily.
• The ideal candidate will manage inventory locations, track shelf-life materials, coordinate transportation, and evaluate processes for improvement while using forklifts and maintaining proper documentation.

Skills/Experience

• High school diploma/GED and 4+ years of experience in logistics support, shipping/receiving, warehousing, or inventory control -- (Required)
• Ability to obtain forklift certification -- (Required)
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and walk/stand for extended periods -- (Required)
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel (sort, filter, conditional formatting, formulas) -- (Required)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen -- (Required)
• Active Secret clearance -- (Required)
• Knowledge of Cognos, CostPoint, and advanced Excel formulas -- (Preferred)
• Prior experience using forklift/reach lift/pallet jack -- (Preferred)
• Experience with Costpoint/MES -- (Preferred)
• Hazmat or chemical handling experience -- (Preferred)
• NGC manufacturing shop floor experience -- (Preferred)
