Schedule: Swing shift 7am-7pm

Join our team as a Material Handler on the Day Shift and play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly! In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for efficiently handling and organizing materials, ensuring a seamless flow of supplies from storage to production areas. What You'll Do:

• Remove folded signatures from web press and carefully place them on pallets or skids for transfer to warehouse or binding sections.
• Load and unload materials onto/from pallets, carts, and trays with precision.
• Safely convey materials from storage or work areas using hand trucks, electric dollies, or other equipment.
• Count, weigh, and record the number of units moved daily, maintaining accurate documentation on production sheets.
• Attach tags or labels to materials and mark containers with necessary identification information.

Required Skills:

• Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
• Basic arithmetic skills for counting and weighing.
• Experience using hand trucks, dollies, or similar tools.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and recording information.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow safety guidelines.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or barcode labeling.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to material handling.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in material handling, warehouse work, or production environments is a plus.

Other Requirements:

• Comfortable working on feet for extended periods.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team setting.
• Must pass pre-employment screening and adhere to safety protocols.
