Material Handler – 1st Shift | Weekly Pay

Location: Cascade, IA
Pay: $20.00/hour 
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join a growing team in Cedar Rapids, IA. This material handler role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, or metalworking equipment who enjoy physical, production-based work in a manufacturing environment.

Material Handler Responsibilities:

• 
  Visually inspect metal parts for quality, accuracy, and defects
  
• 
  Deburr metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools
  
• 
  Operate metalworking and production equipment as needed
  
• 
  Package products according to customer specifications
  
• 
  Laser mark parts with identification numbers per customer requirements
  
• 
  Read and follow blueprints and work instructions
  
• 
  Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  
• 
  Follow all safety policies and procedures
  

Material Handler Qualifications:

• 
  High school diploma or GED required
  
• 
  Previous experience as a material handler, production worker, or manufacturing associate preferred
  
• 
  Ability to read blueprints (training provided)
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  
• 
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for most of the shift
  
• 
  Willingness to wear PPE and follow safety guidelines
  
• 
  Strong teamwork and communication skills
