Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Austin, TX (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract with possible extension
Pay Range: $15.00 - $ 16.00 per hour on W2
Shift: 7:30am to 4:30pm

Job Description
The Material Handler I is responsible for supporting daily material handling operations, including receiving, storing, moving, and shipping RMA orders.
This entry-level role ensures accurate inventory tracking and timely material flow to support manufacturing and warehouse activities.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine material handling tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping RMA orders.
  • Transport materials within the facility using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand tools.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies.
  • Accurately enter and update inventory data in the ERP or inventory management system.
  • Assist with cycle counts and support inventory control processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and complete assigned tasks and projects as directed.
 
Must Have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Forklift certified.
  • 0–1 year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling environment.
  • Basic understanding of order processes is a plus (training will be provided).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred (Oracle experience is a plus).
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 35lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
