Material Handlers for a growing recycling and manufacturing operation in Bartlesville, OK. This is more than a warehouse position. - High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and accurately document processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
- Familiarity with WMS and/or ERP systems preferred
- Understanding of universal waste or hazardous material handling practices preferred
- Must be willing to submit to required pre-employment screenings
Material Handler Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, parts, and products for accuracy and quality
- Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Label, store, and organize materials according to inventory and safety procedures
- Pull and stage materials for production, shipping, and recycling operations
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and material movements
- Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation
- Identify and report damaged, non-conforming, or hazardous materials
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to maintain efficient material flow
- Follow all company policies, environmental regulations, and safety requirements
- Support continuous improvement efforts focused on warehouse organization, efficiency, and inventory accuracy
Physical Requirements for the Material Handler
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Navigate uneven surfaces, including gravel areas
- Climb on and off forklifts or platforms as needed
