Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team in Beaverton, OR. This role involves both physical warehouse tasks and significant computer-based work, making strong computer proficiency essential for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices
- Accurately enter and manage inventory and shipping data in computer systems
- Prepare, package, and label products for shipment
- Maintain detailed records of materials received, stored, and shipped
- Review and process customer orders using internal systems
- Stock, organize, and distribute materials within the warehouse
- Identify and report damaged or incorrect items
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts as needed
- Lift and move heavy materials safely
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills required (data entry, inventory systems, general navigation)
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not the primary focus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and be on your feet throughout the shift
