This is a performance-to-hire opportunity on the first shift, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The pay is $20.81 per hour. We are seeking a Machine Operator to support a high-speed production line. This role is responsible for operating packaging equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe work environment. Machine Operator Responsibilities: Operate high-speed packaging machinery Set up machines according to product specifications Monitor metal detectors, check weighers, and scales Perform quality, net weight, and labeling checks Replenish packaging materials (film, labels, etc.) Complete production and QA paperwork Follow GMP, Safety, and Allergen Control procedures Assist with changeovers and machine cleaning Support Packers and move materials as needed Machine Operator Requirements: Previous Machine Operator experience in a manufacturing setting Food manufacturing or GMP experience is a plus Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic math and computer skills required Ability to work in a team environment Lift up to 50 lbs. independently (up to 80 lbs. with assistance) Stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Comfortable working in a food production environment with spice dust exposure Must undergo pre-employment screenings such as E-Verify, drug test, background check We Offer: Weekly pay, Medical, Life Insurance, LLH Health Insurance, Paid holidays, IL Paid Leave, & Referral bonuses!
