Looking for a hands-on career with a rotating schedule that gives you four days off at a time? We're hiring an Operations Associate to join a growing team in Broken Bow. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working with equipment and being part of an operation that values safety, teamwork, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Operate industrial equipment including forklifts, balers, grinders and other material handling equipment.
Process production scrap and sort recyclable materials.
Bale cardboard and plastic film for shipment.
Load finished products onto trailers using safe loading procedures.
Package food waste and recyclable materials according to transportation and disposal requirements.
Prepare shipping documents including bills of lading, packing lists, trailer checklists and waste manifests.
Track product weights and maintain accurate shipping records.
Communicate with the Operations Supervisor regarding production needs or challenges.
Participate in safety meetings and training while following all PPE and workplace safety requirements.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and other operational duties as assigned.
May operate a 22-foot box truck or larger company vehicles when needed.
Qualifications
Previous forklift or material handling experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Able to stand, walk and perform physical work for extended periods.
Strong attention to safety, organization and teamwork.
Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
