Material Handler / Warehouse Associate

Payrate: 18.00-19.00/hr

Position Summary
Under direct supervision, the Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and distribution operations. This includes receiving, storing, moving, tracking, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced environment, and follows inventory control, safety, and GMP procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, store, issue, and deliver materials, equipment, and supplies
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Move materials between warehouse, production, and other departments
- Process inventory transactions accurately and on time
- Pick and stage materials for production work orders
- Ensure proper storage and organization of materials
- Operate material handling equipment, including:
- Sit-down forklifts
- Stand-up forklifts
- Side-loader forklifts
- Pallet jacks
- Work in narrow aisles and cold storage areas as needed
- Follow all GMP, SOP, and safety requirements
- Assist with training new team members
- Comply with company policies and procedures
Qualifications- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic inventory and warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift and material handling equipment experience preferred
- Ability to accurately complete inventory transactions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing, laboratory, and warehouse setting and may involve:- Working in cold storage areas
