Summary/Objective: In this role, the Material Handler I will be responsible for receiving, shipping, sorting and storing materials. This role includes working with other warehouse team members.Essential Functions:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Moves materials off trucks, pallets or racks and prepare orders for shipmentSort and segregate materials onto correct pallet or other locations based on item number
Place labels on boxes or pallets as instructed in the processWrap pallets with stretch wrap and other packaging supplies
Put away product in designated warehouse locationsIdentify damage, loss, or surplus of materials and communicate issues
Utilizes RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track productAbility to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull and withstand temperatures in a warehouse environmentAbility to understand and follow instructions
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersKeep clean and safe work environment
