Description
Summary/Objective: In this role, the Material Handler I will be responsible for receiving, shipping, sorting and storing materials. This role includes working with other warehouse team members.Essential Functions:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Moves materials off trucks, pallets or racks and prepare orders for shipmentSort and segregate materials onto correct pallet or other locations based on item number
- Place labels on boxes or pallets as instructed in the processWrap pallets with stretch wrap and other packaging supplies
- Put away product in designated warehouse locationsIdentify damage, loss, or surplus of materials and communicate issues
- Utilizes RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track productAbility to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull and withstand temperatures in a warehouse environmentAbility to understand and follow instructions
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersKeep clean and safe work environment
