Material Handler $26/Hour
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Pay: $26 per hour
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts
Advance Services is hiring a dependable Material Handler for a busy manufacturing facility in Cedar Rapids. This position supports production and warehouse operations by moving materials throughout the facility, keeping work areas supplied, and maintaining a safe and organized environment.
Responsibilities
- Move raw materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility
- Load, unload, stage, and organize materials
- Keep production areas stocked with necessary materials
- Complete inventory and material-handling documentation
- Inspect materials for accuracy or damage
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Assist with additional production or warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous material handling, warehouse, forklift, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a fast-paced environment
