Material Handler

Material Handler – $26/Hour
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Pay: $26 per hour
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts

Advance Services is hiring a dependable Material Handler for a busy manufacturing facility in Cedar Rapids. This position supports production and warehouse operations by moving materials throughout the facility, keeping work areas supplied, and maintaining a safe and organized environment.
Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility
• Load, unload, stage, and organize materials
• Keep production areas stocked with necessary materials
• Complete inventory and material-handling documentation
• Inspect materials for accuracy or damage
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety and quality procedures
• Assist with additional production or warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous material handling, warehouse, forklift, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a fast-paced environment
