Material Handler
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM | Tuesday - Saturday
We are hiring Material Handlers to support warehouse operations in a fast-paced production environment. This position involves moving materials, handling product, loading and unloading freight, and helping maintain a clean and organized facility. Candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable with physical work throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Move materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility.
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
- Stack pallets and organize products in designated storage areas.
- Pick, pack, sort, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Label products and verify shipment accuracy.
- Maintain a clean work environment through sweeping, trash removal, and general housekeeping.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous warehouse, production, or material handling experience.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for 1012 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, stretching, and climbing.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, lighting conditions, and warehouse environments.
