Material Handler

The Distribution Associate is responsible for warehousing/material distribution tasks relative to the shipment of products.

• 1+ year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training. Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
• Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment.
• General computer skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials, components, and products.
• Move materials between warehouse, production, and shipping areas using appropriate handling equipment.
• Pick, pack, stage, and distribute materials according to production and shipment requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and documentation to ensure material accuracy.
• Load and unload shipments safely while following established procedures.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, or other material-handling equipment as authorized.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe warehouse and work areas.
• Follow SOPs, safety regulations, quality procedures, and company policies.
• Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect materials and report discrepancies promptly.
• Complete required material movement, inventory, and shipping/receiving documentation.
• Support production teams by ensuring required materials are available when needed.
