Job Title: Material Handler
Job Location: Chelsea, MA
Job Duration: 6 months on W2
Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Position Overview:
The Material Handler I supports the movement, handling, and storage of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods within a cGMP manufacturing environment. This entry-level role focuses on accurate material handling, inventory support, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and damage
Store materials in designated warehouse locations following established procedures
Pick, stage, and deliver materials to internal departments as required
Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards
Perform basic inventory activities including cycle counts and stock verification
Accurately complete documentation and perform data entry in inventory systems
Assist in packaging and preparing materials for internal movement or shipment
Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
Follow company policies, SOPs, and cGMP requirements
Collaborate with team members and support additional warehouse operations as needed
Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Associate s degree (preferred)
Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments
Experience in GMP/FDA-regulated or biotechnology environments (preferred)
