The Material Handler role offers a salary of $17.00 - $21.00/hour.
Position Summary:
Seeking a dependable, safety-conscious individual to support warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials to ensure efficient workflow and accurate inventory. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with forklifts and warehouse equipment, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and receive incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Store, organize, and stage materials for orders or production.
- Load/unload trucks safely using appropriate equipment.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain inventory records and perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Ensure a clean, safe warehouse environment and follow safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and drivers.
- Assist with unloading at work sites as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license; warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain it preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work independently or in a team.
Work Environment:
- Warehouse with open space, variable conditions, and equipment exposure.
- Moderate noise, possible dust, and debris.
- Adherence to safety procedures and PPE use required.
