Title: Material Handler

Pay Rate: $16.05

Location: 911 N. Davis Ave. Cleveland MS USA 38732

2nd Shift - 3pm - 11pm EST

Positions will require mandatory Overtime. Will be working 6-7 days a week. Overtime can be in the form of weekly OT not just weekend.

Job Responsibilities

·       Perform manufacturing processes for the production of plastic pour bottles. 

·       Perform and document line clearances. 

·       Verify correctness of material. 

·       Load empty gaylords on production line to be filled with plastic pour bottles. 

·       Pack plastic pour bottles into empty gaylords, cover and ensure proper labeling of product. 

·       Inspect bottle and gasket assembly. 

·       Report abnormalities and corrective action to shift leader/supervision. 

·       Participate in continuous improvement efforts and Lean exercises. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·       Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures. 

·       Able to complete documentation legibly and per procedure. 

·       Audiometric testing and hearing protection required. 

·       Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). 

·       Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur. 

·       Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles. 

Physical Requirements

·       Ability to bend, stoop and climb ladders. 

·       Ability to stand for long periods of time. 

·       Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds. 

·       Ability to lift above the shoulder. 

Required Education and Experience 

·       High school diploma required.  Additional technical experience, training, or education a plus. 

·       Basic mathematical skills and computer skills required.
