Material Handler Starting Pay: $17/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM / Overtime as required
Penmac Staffing is hiring a
Material Handler for a local client. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in accuracy and safety.
Responsibilities for the Material Handler- Load and unload products from trucks safely and efficiently
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment
- Put away products in designated storage areas
- Inspect products for damage and report issues promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Follow all safety guidelines and contribute to a safe work environment
Requirements for the Material Handler- Previous experience operating lift trucks or heavy equipment (required)
- Ability to read and perform basic math calculations (required)
- Experience using RF guns or tablets for receiving, put-away, and picking (required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to learn new skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Must have a clean safety record and consistent attendance
- Willingness to suggest process improvements
What We’re Looking ForCandidates with strong computer skills to perform the administrative pieces of this position with includes system entries and inventory movement.
