Material Handler / Crane Operator

Schedule:

6:00AM - 2:30PM (Overtime available)

Job Summary:

Material handler needs to be able to operate a forklift/ overhead crane efficiently. They need experience in a steel shop recognizing different materials (Wide Flange Beams, Tubes, Pipe, Channels, Angles)

Responsibilities:

• Operate an overhead crane to safely move and position materials
• Load and unload steel products
• Handle large structural steel beams approximately 40–60 feet long
• Safely move and stage heavy steel materials
• Work both inside and outside depending on operational needs
• Work safely around large and heavy steel products
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

• MUST have previous crane operating experience
• Overhead crane experience REQUIRED
• Experience handling steel or other heavy materials preferred
• Comfortable working around large/heavy steel products
• Able to work safely in an industrial environment
