Material Handler
The Material Handler will provide support to the production departments and operators. They will support activities include assembling boxes, operating the elevator and using an electric pallet jack to move product to various locations in the plant.
Responsibilities:
* Move materials and products throughout the facility using electric or hand pallet jacks, elevators, and other equipment while reading routers and work instructions to ensure accurate identification, delivery, and workflow
* Support automated inspection operations by assembling boxes, unwrapping and breaking down skids, transferring containers, and maintaining continuous product flow
* Monitor packaging supply inventory, collect and deliver skids, baskets, and bins, and use a computer to prioritize production workloads and coordinate with operators
* Follow all safety procedures, communicate effectively with team members and leaders, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, and cost efficiency
Required Skills & Experience:
* High school diploma or GED
* Previous experience in related role
* Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 5pm to 1:30am
* Can read and understand work instructions
Preferred Skills & Experience:
* 1+ years of manufacturing experience
* Basic computer knowledge
