Material Handler – Quality Control Department

Pay: $15.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: North Houston / Willowbrook Area

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support the Quality Control department within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for safely moving, organizing, staging, and tracking materials and parts throughout the QC inspection process. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working a 12-hour shift.

Job Responsibilities

• Move and stage materials, parts, and finished products for the Quality Control department.
• Transport materials to and from designated inspection and production areas.
• Organize incoming materials awaiting QC inspection.
• Separate and stage inspected, approved, rejected, or hold materials as directed.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and other identifying information.
• Assist QC Inspectors with locating and moving materials needed for inspection.
• Maintain accurate organization of materials to prevent mix-ups or misplaced parts.
• Use pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of materials throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and PPE requirements.
• Perform additional warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working around a Quality Control or manufacturing department is a plus.
• Ability to read part numbers, labels, work orders, and basic documentation.
• Ability to lift and move materials throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM.
