Job Description
Employnet is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse and manufacturing operations. The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for production orders and customer shipments.
- Transport materials throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Supply production lines with components and raw materials to support manufacturing schedules.
- Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities.
- Organize warehouse inventory and maintain proper storage locations and labeling.
- Prepare outbound shipments, including packaging, palletizing, and shipping documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management and ERP systems.
- Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and quality standards.
- Assist with warehouse housekeeping and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with shipping, receiving, production, and inventory teams to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
- 1yr of long-term consecutive work history
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer and inventory management system experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
