About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Material Handlers for a logistics (3PL) company in Dayton, MN. In this role, you’ll help keep freight moving accurately and on schedule while supporting a fast-paced warehouse and transportation operation. What You’ll Do as a Material Handler:- Print and collate paperwork for LTL, TL, priority, and customer pickup loads
- Track, trace, and update shipments in company systems
- Monitor time-sensitive freight and follow up on “hot” loads
- Scan, index, and maintain shipping documents
- Assist with dispatching and communicate with carriers as needed
- Manage container arrivals and notify carriers when empty or loaded
- Resolve overage, shortage, and damage (OS&D) issues
What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role:- 2+ years of transportation, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- High attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay composed under pressure
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation to Dayton, MN #BCjobs
