Pay Rate: $19/hr on W2 (Including all benefits)
Shift: (07:00 AM 03:30 PM Lunch: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM)
How will you make a difference?
You will be responsible to handle and distribute materials from the shipping department, able to conduct inventory, shipments and supplies throughout the plant and warehouse.
A quality job of packing wooden/overpack boxes and loading customer orders onto trucks for shipment.
Operates industrial lift truck equipment safely and proficiently.
What do we want to know about you?
" High School Graduate or GED.
" 1+ years in a warehouse or distribution environment.
" 2+ years of forklift experience preferred.
" Ability to operate a computer to read and input data using a Warehouse Management System
" Able to use Microsoft Office applications
" Must be able to work overtime.
" Ability to think critically and troubleshoot problems.
What will your typical day look like?
" Ability to use a computer is a MUST - Oracle preferred
" Use of Scanners
" Accurately pull parts for production areas and accurately stock parts in warehouse locations.
" Picking
" Shipping/Receiving of outgoing & incoming materials.
" Maintain a clean/organized work area and maintain equipment accordingly.
" Comply with safety requirements and company policies.
" Complete production and quality assurance forms.
" Participate actively in team meetings and group discussions.
" Actively participate in continuous improvement activities or events as required.
" Adhere to Quality Management System Requirements.
" Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
What about the physical demands of the job?
" Employee is required to wear appropriate PPE such as steel toe boots, gloves and safety glasses.
" Employees are regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, bend, work underneath equipment, reach above shoulders, and climb.
" Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds unassisted and up to 75 pounds with assistance.
" Employees will be working in the typical conditions of a manufacturing environment including seasonal variation in temperatures and occasional exposure to manufacturing fumes or by-products.
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
