Material Handler

Our client in East Pittsburgh, PA is looking for a Material Handler to join their team.

Job Duties:

- Supply production lines with raw materials and parts; transport goods from production to staging/shipping; support shipping department in all aspects of shipping.
- Operate forklifts safely to load/unload trucks and to move materials within the warehouse and departments spaces.
- Verify incoming stock against packing slips for accuracy and damage.
- Unpack parts for stock; log inventory movements; record inventory data.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.




Job Requirements:

- Ability to stand, bend, and lift 50 lbs. consistently in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Ability to work a consistent Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. shift.
- Strong attention to detail and basic mathematic skills and computer literacy for inventory tracking.
