Material Handler, Electrical (33817)

Position Summary

A Material Handler will primarily be responsible for loading and unloading building materials into the warehouse or jobsite and other yard duties as needed. This is a safety sensitive position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading customer and company vehicles and staging orders.
• Receiving, verifying, and counting stock items
• Completes yard paperwork and documentation of incoming and outgoing material in a timely manner.
• Verify and track inventory by comparing computer counts to physical counts of stock and investigate any discrepancies
• Coordinates and inspects specified quantity and quality of shipments coming and going from the yard.
• Maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse, supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas
• Operating forklifts safely and responsibly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department.
