SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a
Material Handler for a large, well-known client in
Elk Grove Village, IL. As a skilled
Material Handler you will support production operations in a fast-paced print manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for moving raw materials and finished products throughout the facility, supporting press and finishing operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials to meet production schedules.

Temp-To-Hire employees are offered competitive compensation of
$18.75 - $21.75/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
Available shifts include (12 Hour rotating shifts)
2nd shift 7:00am - 7:00pm - $18.75
3rd shift 7:00pm - 7:00am - $21.75
Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities- Load, unload, move, and transport materials throughout the facility using pallet jacks.
- Supply paper, packaging materials, and production components to printing and finishing departments.
- Remove completed products from production lines and stage materials for shipping or downstream processing.
- Verify quantities, lot numbers, and product specifications while maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Label, scan, and document material movements using company inventory systems.
- Assist production teams with changeovers, material replenishment, and housekeeping activities.
- Stack, band, wrap, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.
- Conduct routine quality checks to identify damaged materials or production defects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures.
Material Handler Requirements and Qualifications- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, printing, packaging, warehouse, or distribution environments preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Print manufacturing, direct mail, packaging, or bindery operations.
- Material staging and production support.
- Mail sorting/stacking
