Material Handler/Equipment Operator

Seeking a Material Handler/Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy machinery for scrap metal movement and organization.

• Operate equipment in compliance with safety policies and conduct routine inspections.
• Move, sort, stack, load, and unload scrap materials; identify scrap commodities accurately.
• Maintain equipment and work area safety, cleanliness, and orderliness.
• Follow instructions from supervisors, assist with cross-training, and report repairs promptly.
• Attend training sessions and perform other duties as assigned.

  Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years heavy equipment experience.
• Knowledge of equipment operation, safety protocols, and scrap sorting.
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changes, and adhere to schedules.
• English proficiency preferred; bilingual skills a plus.
