Material Handler Location: Evansville, Indiana | Full-Time | In-Office/Plant-Based Build Your Career with Chem Group Chem Group is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to join our team in Evansville, Indiana. As a Material Handler, you will play an important role in the safe and efficient movement of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals throughout our facility. You’ll work alongside experienced plant personnel, gain hands-on experience, and receive ongoing training designed to help you develop your skills and advance toward a Technician Level 2 position. What You'll Do As a Material Handler, your responsibilities will include: Safely load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals from tank trucks, box vans, railcars, and other transportation vessels. Perform daily material handling and shipping/receiving activities. Collect and handle material samples as required. Conduct physical inventory and maintain accurate inventory records. Complete required paperwork, documentation, and operational records. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including housekeeping, painting, mowing, and weed-eating. Assist plant operations personnel with a variety of activities as needed. Follow all applicable Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) requirements, procedures, and policies. Follow Chem Group's quality policies and procedures. Participate in ongoing training to develop additional skills and progress toward Technician Level 2 .
