Description

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Receive raw and purchased materials

  2. Deliver raw and purchased materials to areas needed

  3. Maintain an accurate receiving inventory

  4. Comply with all Elkhart North policies and procedures.

  5. Comply with all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

6 Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

  1. Execute material movement through entire facility

  2. Process and transfer Service Orders

  3. Complete transfers and transactions

  4. Verify, track and collect operational and manufacturing scrap

  5. Execute paperwork and material movement to and from outside vendors

  6. Admin Return to Stock (RA) process

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  1. Unload & unpack scheduled & unscheduled materials & supplies

  2. Put away supplies, inventory materials and organize warehouse

  3. Pull, create MO's and transfer service parts

  4. Fill orders for both in-house and outside vendors

  5. Collect process scrap and scrap parts, weigh, verify and report accordingly - scrap verification process

  6. Deliver material & stock items to proper departments/areas

  7. Prep scrap shipments for pick-up

  8. Pull and issue out supplies for production

  9. Conduct cycle counts

  10. Collect material containers and skids for return to vendors

  11. Clean receiving area, warehouse, and stockroom

  12. Receiving and processing Return to Stock (RA's)

  13. Complete necessary reports, transfers, MO updates and paperwork

  14. Scanning, physical handling and management of visual bins

  15. Complete appropriate paperwork for inter-company transfers, verify and stage for pick-up

  16. Other duties as requested by supervisors and management

  17. Create assembly kits following pre-determined process

Requirements

PRE-DETERMINED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Ability to drive a forklift and become forklift certified - A MUST -

  2. Must possess basic math skills

  3. Regular attendance

  4. Basic skill with and understanding of computer functions

  5. Valid driver's license

  6. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures precisely

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Ability to lift a maximum of 35 lbs. unassisted; frequently over 50 lbs. assisted

  2. Ability to move a 500 lb. Drum with assistance

  3. Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods

  4. Ability to push carts of material to areas throughout the facility
