Material Handler | First Shift | Harrison, OH
We are currently hiring for a First Shift Material Handler position with a well-established industrial air compressor and vacuum systems company in Harrison, Ohio. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous warehouse and forklift experience who is looking for a stable, full-time position with a growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately create and submit all required documentation to customers and freight suppliers.
- Schedule and coordinate shipment pick-ups with freight suppliers using vendor portals
- Verify all outgoing shipments, matching purchase order requirements with goods shipped.
- Perform all required electronic transactions to ship.
- Physically handle material for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Perform all required electronic transactions to ship and receive material.
- Stage assembly areas
Requirements:
- Must pass forklift qualification test, so previous forklift experience required
- Must be able to pass an online safety / warehouse assessment
- Strong communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Demonstrated effective problem solving skills. Able to understand complex issues and provide appropriate, effective solutions.
- High level of attention to detail and drive to complete tasks accurately and completely.
- Must provide clean drug screen and be able to pass a background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Reliable attendance and good work ethic
Schedule:
Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm
Pay:
$17.85/hr paid weekly
