Material Handler - Forklift Driver - 1st Shift

We are seeking a 1st Shift Material Handler to join our team at Wesanco!

Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 am - 3:30pm

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday Must be open to working Saturdays (same scheduled time as above) and OT as necessary

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver parts to and from assembly stations & in-process storage.
• Operate a counter balance forklift will be a requirement once trained.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Process orders accurately using RF scanners & shipping software.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

• 1 year experience of counter balance forklift would be outstanding! If not, 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience and willingness to train is MANDATORY to learn counterbalance forklift.
• Minimum 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Loading flatbeds with the correct product and adhering to the truck driver's guidelines.
• Checking product thoroughly to make sure the correct product and amount is being picked before loading or restocking in the warehouse.
• Strong attention to detail & inventory accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
