Material Handler / Forklift – Shipping & ReceivingHours:
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with potential overtime until 4:30 PMPay Rate: 21.38 Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for loading and unloading merchandise, receiving and verifying shipments, and safely moving freight using a standard sit?down forklift. This role requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to follow established procedures.Key Responsibilities:- Load and unload merchandise using forklifts and other designated equipment
- Receive stock and special orders; verify quantities and condition of goods
- Read and compare packing slips, shipping documents, and purchase orders
- Count freight to verify accuracy of shipments
- Research and resolve shipping or receiving discrepancies
- Move freight to designated staging areas and coordinate with the Shipping Team
- Maintain lift equipment and follow all SOPs
- Keep shipping and receiving areas clean and organized
- Assist in Packaging, Slab Door, and Moulding departments as needed
Requirements:- Forklift Certified (Standard Sit?Down Fork Truck)
- Experience loading curtain?side trailers preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety mindset
- Ability to perform manual lifting
- Good communication and problem?solving skills
- Flexible schedule availability
