Job Description
Position Summary
The Material Handler will be responsible for moving pallets of material around the warehouse with ease. The material handler will need to ensure the product is secure and safe for transport to designated locations and keep accurate inventory of all finished good.
Shift: Monday - Friday 4:30am-3pm
Pay: $18-$20/hour DOE
Essential Responsibilities
- Operates a Power Industrial Truck (PIT) to move products and pallets safely throughout the warehouse.
- Accurately transports all purchased, manufactured, WIP, raw materials and finished goods by checking counts and scanning to the correct location and confirming product labels are accurate.
- Ensures that product is moved and scanned to the correct location and confirms product labels are accurate.
- Communicates any discrepancies, product issues or safety issues with the Supervisor.
- Successfully passes all Novo powered industrial truck training and operates a PIT following all safety requirements established within Novo.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
