Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Forklift Material Handlers to join our client, a local manufacturing company. This position is perfect if you enjoy a 2-2-3 schedule (only working half the year!), have prior material handling experience, and are excited to grow with a company.

Job Highlights:

• Schedule: Full-time, 12-hour day shift or night shift (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am) 2-2-3 schedule
• NO SWING SHIFT
• Pay: $20-23 per hour

Material Handler Job Summary:

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing team by ensuring machines are stocked with raw and packaging materials, bringing finished goods to the warehouse, tracking inventory, and loading and unloading trucks. This position requires prior experience in material handling and forklift operation, with roll clamp experience preferred.

Material Handler Job Duties:

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely
• Supply machines with raw materials as well as boxes or bags for packaging
• Put finished goods away in the warehouse and update inventory tracking systems
• Perform cycle counts and inventory updates as needed

Material Handler Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of previous material handling experience is REQUIRED.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Paper converting experience is preferred
• Motivated, positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift and move up to 50lbs on a regular basis
